Description | The work to be performed by the Contractor consists of but is not limited to the following: Location 1 - Install 230 feet of six inch directional bore conduit and 330 feet of three phase 1000 KCMIL underground primary cable from existing wood pole to a new PME-9 at location 2. Terminate the three phase 1000 KCMIL underground primary cable on existing wood pole. Location 2 - Install one PME -9 three phase switchgear and one fiberglass ground sleeve. Install 290 feet of six inch di rectional bore conduit and 370 feet of three phase 1000 KCMIL underground primary cable from new PME -9 at location 2 to new PME -9 at location 3. Terminate both sets of new three phase 1000 KCMIL cable in the PME-9 switchgear at location 2. Install 225 feet of four inch directional bore conduit and 300 feet of three phase 1/0 underground primary cable from new PME-9 at location 2 to existing three phase transformer at location 7. Terminate new three phase 1/0 underground primary cable in the PME -9 at location 2 and the existing three phase transformer at location 7. Phase new three phase 1/0 primary cable and remove existing 1/0 three phase primary cable to existing pothead at location 8 once new cable and existing transformer are energized. Location 3 - Install one PME -9 three phase switchgear and one fiberglass ground sleeve. Install 320 feet of six inch directional bore conduit and 400 feet of three phase 1000 KCMIL underground primary cable from new PME-9 at location 3 to new PME -11 at location 4. Te rminate both sets of new three 1000 KCMIL underground primary cable in the PME -9 switchgear at location 3. Install 310 feet of four inch directional bore conduit and 400 feet of three phase 1/0 underground primary cable from PME-9 at location 3 to existing wood pole at location 9. Terminate new three phase 1/0 underground primary cable in the PME -9 at location 3 and on the existing wood pole at location 9. Phase new three phase 1/0 primary cable and energize existing three phase overhead line and existin g three phase primary cable at location 9. Location 4 - Install one PME -11 three phase switchgear and one fiberglass ground sleeve. Install 600 feet of six inch directional bore conduit and 680 feet of three phase 1000 KCMIL underground primary cable from new PME-11 at location 4 to existing PME-11 at location 6. Install 250 feet of six inch directional bore conduit and 350 feet of three phase 1000 KCMIL underground primary cable from new PME -11 at location 4 to new pole at location 5. Terminate all thr ee sets of new 1000 KCMIL cable in the new PME -11 switchgear at location 4. Location 5 - Install one new 45 foot class 2 wood pole adjacent to existing 40 foot class 2 wood pole. Transfer existing overhead three phase primary to new pole. Terminate ne w three phase 1000 KCMIL underground cable from location 4 on new pole. Location 6 - Terminate new three phase 1000 KCMIL underground primary cable in the existing PME-11 switchgear at location 6. Location 7 – Existing three phase padmount transformer. Location 8 – Existing wood pole. Location 9 – Existing wood pole. Once all new underground primary is installed and energized, remove existing three phase overhead primary and neutral and equipment. Saw off poles above joint use attachments. |
