Description

Epoxy Deck Overlay and Minor Repairs to Military Highway Bridge. The Work under this project consists of repairing concrete spalls, delaminations, and cracks in the substructure, applying an epoxy bridge deck overlay, applying waterproofing, and lane striping.This project will rehabilitate the Military Highway over Elizabeth River Northbound Bridge, including incorporating a new concrete deck overlay, substructure concrete repairs, and waterproofing of the parapet, railing pedestal, light post bases, and substructure elements. Work outside the bridge footprint consists of the following: epoxy overlay of the approach slab sidewalk and waterproofing of the railing terminal wall and parapet on the approach slab.
