Roadway Signing

Contract includes the removal and replacement of identified Overhead Lighted Guide Sign Panels to include supplemental panels in Leon County as listed in the Appendices, as well as supplying all associated attachment hardware and incidentals (new components). Other work associated with this contract consists of the removal and proper disposal of all existing sign luminaires to include all brackets, wire conduit, and other associated hardware. As a complimentary effort required contract work will also include identifying the electrical power load center supplying power to each overhead sign structure, determining the safest point of disconnect that would eliminate voltage to the old sign structure wiring without impacting the operations of other existing overhead luminaires and/or high mast lighting, and proper electric termination of any wiring that is disconnected so as to ensure safety and compliance with the National Electrical Code. Nomenclature utilized on all new Guide Sign Panels shall match that of existing signs that are being replaced. All work is to be performed at night. Mobilization and Maintenance of Traffic including Traffic Control Officers will be incidental to the other items of the Bid Proposal.
