Refurbishment of the Psych Unit at Ben Taub Hospital

Scope of Work: 1. Replace flooring in corridors, offices, nurse’s station, waiting area, and other miscellaneous areas in Psych unit of Ben Taub Hospital. Refer to the attachment titled Floor Plan for details. a. Provide and install field color - Mannington Biospec MD, Toasted Sesame b. Provide and install 12” border - Toli Mature wood, Light Brazilian cheering heat weld c. Provide and install rubber base - 4” Roppe black brown d. Flooring Area Reference: See floor plan Estimated Area 10,270 square feet (sf) e. Provide floor protection for each phase 2. Patch and paint including wall base replacement a. Areas identified in field plan within the Inpatient Psych Unit b. Estimated area 16,442 sf c. Removal and installation of wall mounts d. Paint Specification: Sherwin Williams, PT 9, PT 10, PT 13. Ceiling paint shall be white where applicable. e. Remove and replace all damaged/stained ceiling tiles. 3. Re-laminate all existing millwork (vertical and horizontal surfaces). Horizontal surfaces to utilize solid surface bullnose transitions. a. Millwork specification – Wilson Art Amber Cherry b. Solid Surface Specification – SS5, Dupont - Corian Aurora
