Description | The work to be performed consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and all incidentals for the Amenity Center Infrastructure. The OWNER is North River Ranch Improvement Stewardship District. Only companies who have been prequalified by the Fieldstone Community Development District and North River Ranch Community Development District will be allowed to submit Bids. No Bid received after the time and date stated will be considered. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check or a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base Bid, as a guarantee that the Bidder will not withdraw from competition after the opening of the Bids, and if awarded the Contract, they will, within fifteen (15) consecutive calendar days after Notice of Award having been given, enter into a written Contract with the OWNER, in accordance with the accepted Bid. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter into the Contract, the Cashier's Check or the Bid Bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. Any and all questions relative to this project shall be directed in writing only to Alexandra Johnson, PE, via e-mail at alexandra.johnson@stantec.com, no later than Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 5:00 PM. The successful Bidder shall furnish a Performance and Guarantee Labor, Subcontractor and Material-Men Payment Bond each in the amount of the 100 percent of the base bid at time of execution of the contract. The Bid Bond, Performance Bond, and Payment Bond shall be obtained from an agency, Surety or Insurance Company, which shall have an establishment or place of business in the State of Florida, shall be duly licensed to conduct business therein, and shall be acceptable to the OWNER. No bidder may withdraw for a period of 60 days after the date set for opening the bids. Bids shall be submitted with one original and one copy on bid forms furnished as part of the specifications, extra copies of which are available through the office of the DISTRICT ENGINEER. Bids will be submitted in sealed envelopes addressed to: North River Ranch Phase 4-C Amenity Center The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, to re-advertise and to award the contract in the best interest of the OWNER. |
