Description | Project scope of work consists of: All labor and material for the work. Work consists of the pressure cleaning and re-painting of Padgett Island Homes consisting of 22 One Story Duplex Buildings, 12 One-Story 4-plex buildings, 1 One-Story Triplex Building, 5 Two-Story 4-plex buildings, 5 Single Family One-Story Buildings, and 1 One-Story Administration Office Building and ancillary building and site signage. Work consists of the pressure cleaning and re-painting of McClure Village consisting of 41 One-Story Duplex Buildings and 3 One-Story Single-Family Buildings, and ancillary building and site signage. B. Full on-site supervision of a State of Florida Licensed Painting Contractor or his owner approved site supervisor is required on this project. Architect and Housing Authority must be able to be in touch with, at all times, the Contractor and/or its Field Superintendent. C. The Contractor and all workers are to be aware that there is Asbestos material existing on site and the all workers will have to follow all OSHA, NIOSH, and NESHAPS regulations. D. All workers on the project shall have at a minimum a Class III Asbestos Certification for work at Padgett Island and a minimum of a Class IV Asbestos Certification for work at McClure Village. This includes the job superintendent. The Housing Authority will provide a ONE TIME Class III (16 hr. class) and Class IV training (2 hr. class) for all workers prior to the start of the construction work. If worker`s miss this training, they will be responsible to submit a training certificate on their own and at their own expense. All Class III training must be done ON-SITE, by a PHA accepted trainer. Class IV Training may be done off site. |
