| Description | Enhance security to accomplish level III ballistic coverage in specific areas noted below: Locations: A. Human resources: Shall consist of a Level III ballistic resistant door and frame between the west lobby and the Human Resources department. B. Professional Standards Office: Shall consist of the wall, door, and windows separating the lobby from the office to be replaced with components that provide level III ballistic protection. Existing service window shall be replaced with a ballistic resistant window, frame, counter and deal tray. It is required that the transaction window at this location be replaced with level III ballistic resistant glazing. This glazing shall be staggered/vertical offset design. C. Loading Dock: Shall consist of the receiving office in the loading dock area. To be modified to Level III ballistic protection along the front of the wall facing the dock. An additional along the north side of the dock requires protection separating it from the dock area. Both walls include service windows and counters that must remain operational and weather tight when closed. Overhead doors at the loading dock location shall be replaced and shall meet current criteria. At this location, the existing transaction windows shall be replaced: one (1) at the wall facing the loading docks and the other at the wall perpendicular to the loading docks. It is required that the transaction windows be replaced with level III ballistic resistant glazing. This glazing shall be a sliding glass transaction window design. Associated counter and deal tray shall be included. | ||
