Description

The City of Aberdeen solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in Civil Engineering Design. This agreement will be for approximately 6 months in duration with the option for the City of Aberdeen to extend it for additional time and money if necessary. The City of Aberdeen reserves the right to amend terms of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to circulate various addenda, or to withdraw the RFQ at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses. Consultants will be considered for the following project The work to be performed by the Consultant consists of preparing preliminary engineering design to include survey, transportation design, NEPA CE, pre-ROW, and construction engineering as part of a federally funded safety improvement project at various intersections near downtown Aberdeen. Safety improvements include pedestrian actuated crosswalk signs, low-cost delineated curb extensions with striping and flexible tubular markers curb extensions, high visibility crosswalk markings, signing, pavement markings and curb ramps as needed. The project includes associated ADA and utility work as needed. This project has a 0% DBE goal for consultant services. The City of Aberdeen reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm(s) for any subsequent phases (R/W, CN) associated with this/these project(s).
