| Description | Disassemble the boiler as needed to access sections that need replacement. Remove the rear section and any related equipment/parts as needed to get rear sections out. Remove three bad cast iron intermediate and one rear section. Furnish and install three new intermediate boiler sections and one new rear section. Include all new gasketing and nipple kits as needed. Reassemble the boiler. Pressure test the boiler. Start up and test. All work will meet or exceed City of Chicago applicable codes and CPS specifications. |
