Toomey Hall Energy Conservation Project

The Contractor shall have as a goal, subcontracting with Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) of ten percent (10%), with Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVE) of three percent (3%); and with Women Business Enterprise (WBE), Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE), and/or Veteran Owned Business of ten percent (10%) of awarded contract price for work to be performed. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Construction Estimate: $1,700,000 - $2,000,000 All Contract Documents must be obtained by the Bidder from ADS to be an Eligible Bidder. The project scope of the project is defined as follows: This project is the conversion of the Toomey Hall building heating water system from high temperature to low temperature and connection to the campus heating water loop. All of the air handling unit (AHU) preheat coils and several terminal reheat coils are to be replaced to meet the heating demand with lower temperature water. The existing Toomey boilers shall remain as backup to serve the campus loop. Also included in this project is the replacement of the AHU control dampers and actuators for return air, outside air, and relief air to allow for better balancing and pressurization of the building. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities in bids and to reject any and all bids.
