HVAC Roof Top System Replacement

A timeline for award has not yet been established.** This document constitutes a request for competitive, sealed proposals for the provision and installation of a turnkey roof top heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC ) unit for the City of Columbia, Missouri. City of Columbia, Utilities Department is seeking a contractor to remove existing HVA C system and accessories, to procure and install a turnkey HVAC , rooftop unit (RTU ) with variable air volume (VAV) , VA V box controller and thermostat replacement in areas and offices as determined. Contractor shall furnish all required permits, materials, supplies, equipment and tools; perforin all necessary labor and supervision; install, erect, equip, and complete all work stipulated in, required by, and in accordance with RFP, R F P exhibits, attachments, contract documents and documents referred to herein (as altered, amended, or modified by all addenda hereto) for and in consideration of the prices stated herein. Contractors shall be responsible for all measurements and calculations for proposed turnkey HVA C system. Questions must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 11, 2023. Contractor shall agree to complete the work described in their proposal no later than the proposed and accepted number of calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Contractor shall agree to allow a deduction of five hundred dollars ($500.00) per calendar day from final payment as liquidated damages for each day that completion is delayed beyond said completion date established.
