Description | The work associated with this section WILL NOT be bid as part of the Division 23 scope of work. 12 13 Work in this section includes Direct Digital Control (DDC) panels, main communication trunk, software 14 programming, and other equipment and accessories necessary to constitute a completely coordinated 15 extension of the existing building Direct Digital Control (DDC) system. This system interfaced with 16 pneumatic/electric controls (Section 23 09 14) utilizing Direct Digital Control signals to operate actuated 17 control devices will meet, in every respect, all operational and quality standards specified herein, a fully 18 coordinated modification and extension via DDC of the existing Automation System. This Section addresses and specifies salvaging, reusing, recycling and disposing of all project 3 Construction Waste. The work under this section includes all labor, material, equipment and related services necessary to install fully-adhered black EPDM membrane associated system components including metal flashing, all roof related construction and insulation In general the work consists of the removal of 6 boilers and the associated combustion air ductwork, venting, hot water piping, and accessories and the installation of 3 new boilers with boiler pumps, combustion air ducting, venting, hot water piping, and accessories at the Combined Support Maintenance Shop (CSMS) building. Base Bids will be received as follows: A single lump sum bid for All Work. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. In general, the work consists of: replacing the existing boiler and domestic water heater in two buildings.
