West Downtown Water Main Replacement

The Project work will consist of the installation of approximately 1,400 linear feet of 6-inch C900 DR18 CL235 PVC water main, installation of 39 new 1” Municipex water service lines, installation of 2 new fire hydrants, water valves, fittings, removal and replacement of street pavement sections, and construction of other related appurtenances and items of work along 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Avenues between Ventura Street and the alley approximately 470-feet south of Ventura Street. Additional work includes, but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of curb and sidewalk, abandonment of existing water lines after the new water main has been placed in service, traffic control, mobilization and site restoration. There is also an Alternate Bid which includes only improvements along 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue between Ventura Street and the alley approximately 470-feet south of Ventura Street.
