HVAC Equipment Replacement and MEP Support for Remodel

The Gunter Hotel is a 12-story concrete/masonry hotel located in downtown San Antonio. It includes a full basement. The hotel operates 322 guest rooms, four banquet rooms, a restaurant, a bar, eight conference rooms, an exercise area, a pool, in addition to offices and Back-of-House (BOH) that support administration, laundry, cooking, catering, security, and maintenance operations. The hotel also includes an adjacent 40,000 square foot parking structure. CVAL Innovations, an Energy Conservation Company (ESC O), Dallas, Texas, is soliciting competitive proposals from contractors in order to implement the replacement of the current Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment in operation for the Gunter Hotel located at 205 E Houston Street, San Antonio, Texas, 78205. CVAL Innovations is the project developer, engineer of record, and will also GC the project. This phase of the project will include demo work, and 3 units will go on the twelfth floor roof. This RFP is for multiple trades. The following trades shall submit separate proposals, but a single entity is not prevented from submitting proposals for multiple trades: Mechanical HVAC Plumbing Electrical Low Voltage Controls Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing As of September 15, 2023, the general contractor is looking for electrical trades only. Construction is anticipated to start by the end of October 23. Completion is expected December 2023. *Absolutely no inquiries will be accepted at this time.
