Description | The work consists of the following: BASE BID . WTP2 Redundant Power improvements including installation of a new secondary utility feed to the plant and relocation of the existing WTP2 standby engine-generator. . WTP2 Power Distribution improvements including installation of a complete medium voltage loop around WTP2 with step down transformers. . Horizontal Collector Well Redundant Power improvements including installation of standby generators to Horizontal Collector Wells 3 and 4, new automatic transfer switches (ATS) and an elevated concrete structure provided at each well. . SCADA Improvements that include replacing all SLC5/05 PLCs and installation of a fiber network loop. . WTP2 Chemical Feed Improvements including completion of the plant chemical ductbank loop, replacing and relocating the fluoride feed system, membrane building chemical storage improvements, and ammonia system storage improvements. . Sanitary Sewer Improvements including rerouting the sewer mound system such that it will be able to pump offsite. The pumps at the existing sanitary lift station will also be replaced. BID ALTERNATIVES A. DA-1: Membrane Building Control Room Expansion improvements will include all work associated with expanding the existing control room to the east. B. DA-2: Filter Building Fluoride Room Rehabilitation, including any work associated with the demolition of electrical conduit, lighting, concrete floor, hvac, and door replacement. Demolition of existing fluoride tank, pump skid, and capping existing electrical or chemical piping is not included in this bid alternative and will be completed no matter what.
