Alley Improvement Project and Sidewalk Improvement Project

As of April 13, 2023, project was awarded to Hembree and Hodgson, awarded amount is $141,125.62. Furnishing all tools, materials and labor and performing the work necessary to reconstruct approximately 300 linear feet of existing 13 foot wide concrete alley with new concrete pavement and to reconstruct approximately 100 linear feet of existing 10 foot wide concrete sidewalk with new concrete. The alley project portion includes 429 square yards of 8 inch dowel jointed high early strength concrete pavement and 8 inch Type A Aggregate Base and 620 square yards of geotextile reinforcement. The sidewalk portion of the project includes 125 linear feet of stepped concrete curb and gutter, 110 square yards of 4 inch concrete sidewalk and structural improvements over basements under the sidewalk. The information for Bidders, Forms of Bids, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications and Form of Bid Bond, Performance and Statutory Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the Office of the City Clerk of Ponca City, Oklahoma. The successful bidder shall submit Certification of Insurance for Public Liability and Workers Compensation in the amounts prescribed by Statute with the City of Ponca City named as additional insured. Bids filed as provided herein shall be publicly opened on the above-mentioned time, date and place. All bids shall remain on file at least forty-eight (48) hours thereafter before a contract shall be made and entered into thereon. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, before the time set for the opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, shall not be considered and will be returned unopened. All bids submitted must include the word "BID", the name of the bid item or project, and the time and date of the bid opening on the face of the sealed envelope. A cashier's check, a certified check or a security bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder.
