Lee County Justice Center Re-Roof

Contract with a qualified Contractor to provide re-roofing services at the Lee County Justice Center complex located at 1700 Monroe St., Ft. Myers, FL. Work to be performed by the Contractor includes, but is not limited to: Mobilization and Demobilization of site. Remove existing metal and membrane flashing as needed to provide a smooth workable surface. Inspect existing conditions of substrate and all surfaces to receive new roofing system for deterioration, report to Engineer any unsatisfactory conditions. Attach all components of the roofing system as needed for the complete roofing system installation to meet the ultimate wind loading requirements of the Florida Building Code 2017 6th Edition. Install new 1/2-inch minimum fire rated recovery board to the entire roof surface following, Specification, Drawings and Manufactures Requirements. Provide positive drainage to roofing system by the installation of rigid tapered insulation boards as needed to all areas of the roof system. Install new 60-mil single-ply KEE roofing system, color by owner from manufactures standard color selection. Install new sheet metal flashings, counterflashing, replace vents to match existing, and all associated materials required to provide a complete watertight roofing system. Install one-way roof vents on sections called out on drawings. Replace damaged or deteriorated interior drains, Install new stainless steel drain bolts and metal strainer covers on all interior drains. Install new lightning protection system per specification and drawings. Provide contractors 5-year water tight warranty and manufactures 20-year NDL warranty. Dispose of all debris in a legal manner.
