Contract A - Low Bidders - $36,437,886 Big Sky Civil Contractors Montana Civil Contractors Joint Venture Contract B Mountain View Building - $8,564,111 Contract C Mountain View Building - $14,613,704 Contract D Big Sky Civil Contractors - $17,949,274 Montana Civil Contractors Joint Venture ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Shell Valley Watershed Improvement District (Owner) is requesting Bids for four separate Contracts to construct: The Leavitt Reservoir Expansion Project Bids for construction of the Project shall be submitted to Shell Valley Watershed Improvement District, 350 Hwy 14, Greybull, WY 82426 by June 27, 2023 at 2:00 pm Mountain Time. The Bids received will be publicly opened and read at Greybull Town Hall, 24 S 5th St, Greybull, WY 82426 on June 27, 2023 at 3:00 pm Mountain Time. Bids from Wyoming contractors will be given a 5 percent preference. Please note: Volume 2 of the Specifications are the same, except for the Table of Contents, for all bid packages. Contractors may bid on more than one bid package. Contractors bidding on more than one bid package may opt to include a discount if awarded more than one contract. There was a pre-bid meeting and site visit on May 24 in Shell, Wyoming. The pre-bid meeting was mandatory for Prime Bidders and optional for sub-contractors and suppliers. The Project is located in the Beaver Creek Valley approximately 15 miles east of Greybull, Wyoming. The Project has an expected duration of approximately two years and includes the following Work, separated by Contract, and the Engineer's Opinion of Probable Construction Cost: Contract A: Dam, Outlet Works, Wetlands and Recreation Facilities ($31M-$36M) o Construction of a zoned earthen embankment dam that is up to approximately 85 feet tall and 4,200 feet long and consists of approximately 1.5 million cubic yards of primarily locally borrowed fill. o Construction of an outlet works consisting of 42-inch diameter steel pipe and an approximately 90-foot-tall combination gate and spillway tower. o Construction of an approximately 23-acre wetlands mitigation area. o Construction of recreation facilities including a boat ramp. Contract B: Supply Pipeline and Associated Structures ($6M-$7M) o Construction of approximately 7,650 feet of the 42-inch-diameter supply pipeline and associated diversion structure on Beaver Creek. Contract C: Transfer Pipeline and Associated Structures ($12M-$14M) o Construction of approximately 17,700 feet of the 36-inch diameter transfer pipeline, associated diversion structure on Beaver Creek, and multiple discharge structures. Contract D: Aggregate Processing or Import ($10M-$12M) o Production or import of approximately 736,000 tons of aggregate materials. A Pre-Bid Site Visit will be held on Wednesday May 24, 2023. The Pre-Bid Site Visit will begin at 10:00 AM local time at the Shell Community Hall, 201 Smith Ave, Shell, WY 82441. The Pre-Bid Site Visit is mandatory for contractors desiring to bid as the prime contractor for Contracts A through D. Subcontractors and suppliers are welcome but attendance is not mandatory. *Addendum 1-3 have been issued.
