Eastman Trail - Phase I

This project consists of constructing a portion of the future Eastman Trail corridor, including 0.77 miles of 8’ wide concrete trail and lane reconfiguration on 0.25 miles of roadway to include bike lanes. The construction of the concrete trail will generally require asphalt driveway apron replacement, gas valve box adjustments, mailbox replacement, and signage relocation. Two landscaped bench areas will be installed along the concrete trail. The construction of bike lanes will generally require striping modifications, adjustment of drainage structure frames and replacement of grates, and removal and installation of signage. Also included in the project is the modification of the bridge carrying Ridgeway Avenue over Kodak Park (BIN 3211140). The intent is to widen the existing 5’ wide sidewalk on the north side to 12’ wide. This will require removal and replacement of bridge and adjacent roadway curb, closed drainage modifications, guide railing replacement, bridge joint repair, and pavement marking reconfiguration.
