Description

The objective of the project is to upgrade existing conductors along Transmission Line 7/8 to accommodate additional transmission power flows on them due to generators seeking interconnection on the neighboring California Independent System Operator (CAISO) system. This upgrade is based on the SFPUC and Hetch Hetchy Water and Power’s (HHWP) affected system study process consistent with its obligation as a provider of electric transmission service and the CAISO’s FERC-approved tariff. The work is to be performed in Stanislaus, California.
