Description

Retrofitting a 1.1-acre stormwater management pond to a constructed wetland that will act as a retention/detention pond in and adjacent to the Centre Ridge Park off Old Mill Rd, Centreville, VA. Earthwork will generally include creating “micro topography” consisting of sediment forebays, marsh areas, spillways, pools no more than 18” deep, six- to 12-inch deep trapezoidal low flow channels, upland islands, safety benches, riser replacement and access road improvements.
