New Boston Air Force Station, Dam Repair, New Boston, NH

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is issuing a set aside for certified small business contractors for the Repairs to two earthen dams at the New Boston Air Force Station (NBAFS), located in New Boston, New Hampshire. The project is planned to be issued in June 2020, and will be set aside for Small Businesses. The construction will extend over a four-month period occurring in the summer or fall of 2020. This project has the following major components. Green Tree Reservoir – One (1) Dam Conveyance Structure. Construction of cofferdam or other dewatering methods. - Demolition and removal of an existing corrugated metal pipe. - Construction of a new open-top precast box culvert in the same location. Beaver dam debris, demolished and removed to a location on-site. The old concrete intake and fire line will be removed and disposed offsite. Seavey Pond – One (1) Dam Conveyance Structure. Construction of cofferdam or other dewatering methods. Demolition and removal of an existing corrugated metal pipe. Demolition and removal of an existing concrete riser section with pipe cast inside a Construction of a new precast riser section and conduit pipe in the same footprint.
