| Description | Contractor shall follow all contract requirements with emphasis, but not limited to the following points: 1. Notice to Proceed (NTP) is the official notice to Contractor to commence work, Contractor at no time shall proceed to work without a signed Notice to Proceed (NTP). 2. Traffic Control shall comply with Municipal Code (section 12.30) and the Texas Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (TMUTCD). Work on State Rights of Way must conform to requirements outlined in the TMUTCD for State Rights of Way, in particular the correct use of a Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA). Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) permit required and copy submitted with Streets and Maintenance Permit application. |
