Bridge Tending Services

The City of Fort Lauderdale is seeking bids from qualified Contractors for bridge tending services. The Parks and Recreation Department operates a swing bridge at 11th Avenue on the New River in the City of Fort Lauderdale. This bridge is operational to both boating and vehicular traffic 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The Contractor will provide services in the manner detailed in the Invitation to Bid (ITB). The Procurement Services Division has GONE LIVE with a new supplier registration and strategic sourcing system. The Procurement Services Division has implemented an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The ERP System is INFOR. As an enterprise system, one of the various modules is the Supplier Portal. The Supplier Portal is the gateway that allows for the City and Suppliers to connect and conduct business. The Supplier Portal is a one-stop electronic commerce exchange enabling suppliers interested in conducting business with the City to register as a supplier, respond to sourcing events/solicitations, and update their supplier information at any time
