2023 CFP Parking Lot Sealing/Striping At the Lewis and East Street Sites for the Paola Housing Authority

The Paola Housing Authority (PHA) is seeking Proposals from qualified firms to provide all labor and materials for the parking lot sealing and striping at their Lewis and East Street Sites. The general scope of work includes surface preparations, asphalt sealant application, re-striping the parking lot, and other items as specified for a complete and working installation. Any questions regarding the RFP should be directed to Richard Zingre, Project Architect at Zingre and Associates, PA. rzingre@gmail.com or 620-223-6030 voice. a) General Construction i) Please see the attached plans and technical specifications to determine the full scope of work. ii) The general scope includes (1) Preparation of the asphalt pavement to make ready for sealants. (2) Application of asphalt sealant (3 coats). (3) Striping of parking spaces and accessible parking locations. iii) The Contractor is responsible for daily cleanup of the work areas, and for hauling these items off for disposal off site. iv) After the original contract has been awarded, additional work may be identified by the Owner and the successful contractor. Additional work will be done by a change order. v) All work shall be completed in compliance with these contract documents. vi) Weekly certified payroll reports (CPR's) shall be completed and submitted to the Owner for review. The Contractor agrees that time is of the essence in the completion of the work required by this Contract, for which completion is established on or before Sixty ( 60 ) calendar days, following receipt of the Notice to Proceed and Contractor hereby waives any notice putting in default for failure to complete on time.
