Description

03-17-23 Deadline for questions; 5:00 p.m. See Section 12, Page 6 Complete exterior repaint of Buildings 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Stair Tower 2, Stair Tower 3, all Courtyard Concrete Benches and PE Restroom Pavilion located at Storm Grove Middle School in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions of this invitation to Bid and any associated addenda. Attached you will find Storm Grove Painting Specs along with floor plans, elevations and cut sections for the buildings 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & Stair Towers to help with take off purposes but a visual inspection of buildings is recommended. Please note the PE Restroom Pavilion will consist of repainting as per the specs all the exposed block, hollow metal doors, frames, vents and the visible structural steel structure; an onsite visit will be required for accurate takeoff of this PE Pavilion and an approximate location can be found on attached School Site Plan for reference Attachment I Note: All Prospective Bidders/respondents Are Hereby Cautioned Not to Contact Any Member of the Board Staff or Officials Other Than the Specified Contact Person. M/WBE's Are Encouraged to Participate in the Bid Process. Bid Security Bond - Bid bond in the amount not less than 5% of the gross bid shall accompany each bid, with the understanding that bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid date. Bid security shall be made payable to the School District of Indian River County, and may be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company accepted to the owner. Bid bonds will be returned to unsuccessful bidders. Performance and Payment Bond - Performance and Payment Bond equal to 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder. Both bid and performance/payment bonds must be written through a reputable and responsible surety bonding agency, licensed to do business in the State of Florida and shall be issued in accordance with Ch. 624 F.S. Upon receipt of the performance/payment bond, the bid bond will be returned to the successful bidder
