Safe Routes to School Project Design Professional Civil Engineering Services

Engineering and design services for the Safe Routes to School Project (Campbell Middle School and Turie T. Small Elementary School – PH 1) which is a safety project to improve the neighborhood sidewalks around these two schools by widening them, filling in gaps, and making them ADA accessible. Services include but are not limited to design, engineering, surveying, cultural resource assessment, and environmental services. The description and limits for PH 1 are as follows: -Replacement of existing sidewalks on South St from 50 feet west of Keech St to west of Hudson St - 2390 feet. -Roadway modifications to reduce roadway width on South St. from east of Russel St to Cedar Park Drive - 1020 feet. -Removal of east side on-street parking and roadway width reduction on Keech St from South St to approximately 60 feet beyond Cedar St - 830 feet - to provide an 8-foot-wide sidewalk and ADA improvements at the intersections with South St and Cedar St. -Replacement of existing sidewalks on the north side of Cedar St from Jean St to Caroline St - 5-feet wide - and on the south side from Caroline St to Keech St - 6-feet wide - including ADA improvements at the intersections of Jean St and Caroline St – 760 feet - total length.
