Description | Fond du Lac County Land Information Department - Parks & Trails Division is requesting proposals from qualified companies for construction services to be completed at the old Boy Scout Lodge within Shaginappi Park located at W3220 Velvet Beach Road in the Town of Calumet. The scope of this request for proposals includes the following: - Removal of the (2) lakeside lodge additions (wood framing, metal roofs, and concrete foundations); - Replacement of the metal roof on lakeside of lodge to match existing lodge roof; - Repair and fill-in the open stone doorway into lodge using existing stone on site; - Removal of all concrete/stone from crawl space and concrete slab; - Repair and fill-in foundation wall hole where existing sewer line passes through; and - Grade and level lakeside lodge once removal is complete. Please note that all concrete, metal, wood, and other debris removed from the lodge must be hauled offsite as part of the selected company's contract. Final landscaping and seeding will be completed by Fond du Lac County. The County anticipates selecting a construction company relatively soon after the proposals are submitted so that work can start immediately in 2022. If you are interested in submitting a proposal, please provide the following: 1. Your experience with similar projects, including examples and references. 2. Staff assigned to this project and their roles. 3. Your anticipated timeline for renovation work and bid documents for construction. 4. A price for construction and bid specification services. 5. A separate price for construction management activities from bid reviews through final inspection. Certificate of Insurance naming Fond du Lac County as an additional insured must be provided to Fond du Lac County prior to the start of any services. Minimum limit requirements available upon request. Questions shall be submitted to SHELBY.KAPITANSKI@FDLCO.WI.GOV prior to 4:30PM on September 6, 2022. Reponses to questions will be available prior to 4:30PM on September 9, 2022. Fond du Lac County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and the right to disregard all nonconforming proposals. If the project is awarded, it shall be awarded to the bid that will best serve the interests of Fond du Lac County. |
