Swimming Pool Opening Services - Contract A

To prepare and open four (4) municipal swimming pools (Dodge, Tuttle, Lincoln, Maryland) for which consists of Cleaning, plumbing, assembling filter and chemical equipment, filling pool and balancing water. Base Scope of work consists of:1. Mobilizing labor, tools and equipment to jobsites for completion of work; 2. Drain and clean all debris from pools 3. Clean pool surfaces and sideline tile to prepare for use 4. Clean gutters and skimmers and associated strainers 5. Assemble all pool water circulation piping to make pool functional 6. Fill swimming pool with owner supplied water 7. Assemble all pumps, strainer baskets, chemical feed equipment and associated pipe connections to make systems functional 8. Perform start-up of pool circulation and chemical systems and ensure their operation. 9. Balance pool water per City of Columbus standards for bather use including free chlorine, total alkalinity, pH and calcium harness (all chemicals will be supplied by CRPD). 10. Brush and vacuum pool to ready for use 11. Mount ladders, lifeguard chairs and diving boards as needed. 12. Identify and provide quote for contingency works as needed and discovered as part of the start- up process; complete contingency work as directed by owner. 13. Clean up job site daily and at the end of the project to maintain a clean and safe work area.
