| Description | The overall mission of the project is to provide interior finish upgrades to 10 academic buildings on campus including 87 classrooms and public spaces/corridors used by students on a daily basis. Scope of work includes installing new carpet tiles, VCT and base in buildings. 1. Demo of existing carpet and VCT flooring as noted in drawings. 2. Removal of demolished flooring to dumpsters provided by Sam Houston State University. 3. Installation of new flooring; (carpet, VCT, rubber base, stair treads, transition strips and edge bands, etc.). 4. Asbestos testing, abatement, and remediation, where required, will be performed by Sam Houston State University. |
