Questions regarding opening any documents or accessing items on the website should be sent to: Alicia Gannon Office of Contracting and Procurement E-mail: gannon@rowan.edu INTRODUCTION Rowan University invites proposals from qualified, licensed firms to provide ADA audit reports for specific, designated buildings/areas across all Rowan campuses. The selected firm shall complete approximately 15 building/area audits per year identifying areas of non-compliance. II. PROJECT OVERVIEW A. The selected firm shall complete 15 building/area audits per year identifying areas of non-compliance. These building/areas will be identified by the University Architect. The firm shall provide a report which will create actionable projects based on deficiencies, phasing analysis and projected budgets in order to comply with accessibly codes. B. Campus locations include: 1. Glassboro Campus: 201 Mullica Hill Road, Glassboro, NJ 08028 2. Camden Campus: 401 South Broadway, Camden, NJ 08103 3. Camden Campus: 606 Cooper Street, Camden, NJ 08103 4. Stratford Campus: 1 Medical Center Drive, Stratford, NJ 08084 C. Directions and campus maps can be found on the following website: Directions & Campus Maps D. This is a guaranteed contract for year one with the possibility to renew for 2 successive years. E. Review Appendix C: Draft copy of the contract Modified AIA B104 - 2017 Agreement Between Owner and Architect for conformance prior to bid submission. III. SCOPE OF SERVICES A. Field verify existing conditions are in are in compliance with the 2012 ADA Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act Architectural Guidelines (ADAAG). Findings shall be reported in a document format accepted by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Office of Civil Rights (OCR). B. Interpret the ADAAG non-complaint findings into actionable projects, including phasing analysis and an order of magnitude cost projection. Each defined project shall list the code that is being violated and include written description and photographs of the deficiency. These projects shall be shared with Rowan Facilities for remedial action in an easily, sortable .xlsx file format. See Appendix A for an example report. C. Prepare an Annual Summary Plan Report compiling all the non-compliant findings. See Appendix B for an example report. D. Project meeting coordination and attendance may be required. E. Coordination and collaboration with university members and sub-consultants may be required |
