Augmentation Post-Construction Cleaning Services

i. Post construction cleaning and/or augmentation support to assist in readying schools, which will primarily occur during summer months, Awarded vendor(s) should be able to provide a minimum of 30 employees for this type of work to support post construction cleaning, sometimes within a tight schedule. ii. Work will include, but may not be limited to: 1. Construction dust remediation, 2. Cleaning all horizontal surfaces, windows, doors and applicable furniture 3. Could include stripping and recoating floors, or top scrubbing/recoating floors as requested. 4. May be required to move furniture (desks, chairs etc.) if necessary to complete cleaning. a. Further specifics will be reviewed on a project-by-project basis. b. All services must uphold DPS standards of cleanliness. iii. Chemicals: The District will provide chemicals to be used for the service including and/or wax/floor stripper if stripping/recoating floors are required. iv. Equipment and cleaning materials: Due to the nature of this work, the district is not able to provide cleaning materials and equipment to vendors. The vendor will be required to provide all cleaning materials to their staff to include rags, buckets, mops, PPE for their team. The vendor will also be required to provide all of their own equipment to include floor scrubbers, carpet shampooers, wet/dry vacs, vacuums, etc. v. Must respond within 3 days of notice that service is needed and must have a minimum of 30 staff members available. Site visits and quotes will be required. vi. Post construction/augmentation work may include round the clock cleaning and/or weekends to ensure schools are ready for faculty and staff after a construction project has ended.
