Chilled Water Piping Replacement SFC

Contractor shall provide all labor, material, related equipment, tools and supervision necessary for to replace the existing chilled water supply and return piping that routes through the Vadalabene Center and serves the Student Fitness Center on the Edwardsville campus of Southern Illinois University. Vadalabene and the Student Fitness Centers are two story buildings served by multiple elevators. The project scope includes but is not limited to: 1. Refer to Drawings and Section 01 2300 for Base Bid and Alternate scopes of work. 2. Demolition of existing chilled water supply and return piping. 3. Installation of new chilled water supply and return piping in the same location as the existing piping. 4. Chilled water piping within the corridors will be different material from piping within the mechanical rooms. 5. Reconnection to existing coils and pumps as indicated. 6. Demolition of existing second floor ceiling, lights and diffusers within the Vadalabene Center. 7. Installation of new ceilings, lights and diffusers within the Vadalabene Center.
