PD Fire Alarm Replacement

Remove and replace items related to the Fire Alarm System for the Police Department located at 1226 King Street, Cocoa, Florida 32922. The purpose of this project is to remove the existing Fire Alarm panel and replace it with a new Silent Knight Addressable Fire System with Emergency Voice System model SK-6820 XL. This work will include: 3 each Voice Annunciators, 11 each pull stations, 2 each power supply expander, 9 each heat detectors, 102 each smoke detectors, 8 duct detectors, 18 each horn strobes, 46 each strobes, 1 each Water flow switch, 1 each tamper switch, 1 each 120v surge protector, and 1 each document box. No proprietary hardware or software is to be used.The Police Department is now over twenty years old and the recent Fire Inspection found numerous deficiencies including the lack of a voice annunciator. Funds were budgeted in the fiscal year 2020 for its replacement. Contractor is to provide all Fire Alarm System materials and labor to install, test, and connect to our monitoring service as a turnkey project. This work will comply with NFPA 1221 Standard for the Installation, Maintenance, and Use of Emergency Services Communications Systems.
