Homestead Readiness Center Fence and Force Protection

Homestead Readiness Center (Bldg. 756, Schweinfurt Road, Homestead, Florida) currently has barbed wire fencing along the northern, southern, eastern and western perimeter. An estimated request of 2000 linear ft. (8 ft. high) security barbed wire top chain link fencing will start at the northeastern perimeter. This fencing will connect to the requested K8 fencing and run east along the northeastern wood line. The fencing will then continue south along the surveyed area and stopping at a paved road at the southeastern corner. A single cantilever sliding gate will be placed on this paved road (southeastern corner). This gate will either tie in with the current fencing belonging to the airfield (running east and west) or it will tie into new security barbed wire top chain-link fence with anti-ramming cables. This fencing will continue west and stop at a new single cantilever sliding gate on Schweinfurt Road. K8 rated fencing will be placed on the western perimeter parallel to Schweinfurt Road with two electric cantilever entry/exit K12 rated gates.
