Description

As of February 2, 2023, this project has been awarded and started construction. Information regarding the general contractor has not been disclosed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: SYNOPSIS OF WORK PROJECT TITLE: REPAIR AND RENOVATE B2258 2ND FLOOR AND BASEMENT LOCATION: EIELSON AFB, ALASKA PROJECT: FTQW 21-2401 DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The U.S.A.F. is seeking potential contractors to renovate two floors in building 2258 on Eielson AFB. Work includes replacement of ceiling tiles, cove base, removal and prep/painting of walls, carpet removal and install, removal of cubicles, electrical work, plumbing work, and carpentry work. The Contractor will be responsible for the removal of all materials and the installation of new fixtures and equipment to complete the requirement and meet stated safety requirements. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the anticipated price is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NACIS) code is 236220, with a size standard of $39.5M. The Government is contemplating a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Sealed Bid contract. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to the Sources Sought or any follow up information requests. Respondents will not be notified for the results. The information requested will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency.
