Riverside Brookfield High School Air Handling Unit Replacement

The work includes, but is not limited to, replacing two (2) existing air handling units and two (2) condensing units with new units. Work also includes the removal of the existing suspension system ceiling grid, acoustical ceiling panels, and ductwork on the first and second floors and replacing them with new. The existing light fixtures will need to be removed and re-installed. Supplemental steel framing will be required as indicated in the construction documents. The air handling units, condensing units, and return fan have been pre-purchased by the client. The Contractor that is awarded the Air Handling Unit Replacement project will be responsible for the installation of the pre-purchase equipment. The project is being commissioned by Baumann Consulting. All bids offered must be accompanied by bid security in the form of certified check or bid bond made payable to the Owner in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the aggregate of the bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance of the contract properly secured. The successful bidder for the project is required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount, with sureties to be approved by the Owner, and in the form required by the Bidding Documents. The Contractor must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates for all work per Illinois Law.
