2022 Microsurfacing Project - Pavement Markings

The Village of Godfrey seeks proposals to install new thermoplastic pavement markings after a microsurfacing treatment has sufficiently cured. Project Background: The asphalt pavement of Ingham Lane in the Village will receive a microsurfacing application to preserve the pavement and extend its useful life. After the microsurfacing treatment is applied and sufficiently cured, thermosplastic pavement markings will need to be installed in the same configuration. Project Description: The scope of work involved with the project consists of applying yellow dashed thermoplastic pavement markings to the centerline of the pavement surface and the installation of 24 wide white stop bars at existing stop sign locations. The work shall be performed according to IDOT Specification Section 780. All work shall be completed to the satisfaction of the Village Engineer and Director of Maintenance for the Village of Godfrey and shall be in accordance with all applicable IDOT Highway Standards and Specifications. Deficient work shall be removed and replaced at no additional cost to the Village. The contractor shall be responsible for all temporary traffic control devices as well as any flaggers required for his/her work operation. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
