Description

Warranty periods shall not commence until PBA inspects and formally accepts the goods and/or services. The terms, conditions and timing of acceptance shall be determined by PBA. PBA reserves the right to reject any or all items or services not in conformance with applicable specifications, and contractor assumes the costs associated with such nonconformance. PBA is seeking a contractor(s) for the provision of elevator, escalator, and lift services for PBA managed facilities. The services to be provided are detailed herein and include preventive maintenance as well as repairs needed to meet state required performance. All PBA managed facilities are located within the boundaries of Knox County; the sites and details for the equipment at each site are included in Section 4.29. PBA will also consider various preventive maintenance, repairs and upgrade programs recommended by the contractor(s) that could be used throughout the managed facilities. This work must include all supervision, labor materials, equipment, supplies, licenses, and insurance required to fulfill the specifications in this solicitation. Any such protest or question regarding the specifications or solicitation procedures must be received by the Procurement Division no later than 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time on May 24, 2023. These requirements also apply to specifications that are ambiguous Minority-owned, Women-owned & Disadvantaged Businesses: PBA encourages the meaningful participation of minority-owned businesses. It is the intent of PBA to maintain a minimum procurement goal of 10% participation from minority-owned, women-owned, small businesses, and/or disadvantaged businesses.
