Restore Some Retention Dams and Erosion Control Structures to a Functional Condition

Proposals are due two days after the site visit The Cuba Soil and Water Conservation District (CSWCD) is requesting proposals (RFP) to restore some retention dams and erosion control structures to a functional condition. These treatments will be completed on 7 sites there are two groups of dams (1) the project locations are The Canon Medio group is approximately 18 miles southwest of Cuba, NM via Highway 197 and dirt roads (2) the Elk Springs Group is approximately 16 miles south of Cuba, NM via highway US550 and dirt roads. Work will include repairing breached dams and maintenance in accordance with the specifications/stipulations that will be listed in this request for proposal packet. Work on these projects will be accomplished at an hourly rate for equipment and operator. Mobilization and move in costs should be included in the hourly rate. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.

Division 02 -	Existing Conditions, Subsurface Investigation.
Division 31 -	Earthwork, Site Clearing, Grading, Excavation and Fill, Subgrade Preparation, Excavation, Shoring, Tunneling and Mining, Tunnel Excavation.
Division 35 -	Waterway and Marine Construction, Dam Construction and Equipment.
