WCRC and Trout Unlimited Culvert Removal and Replacements

Culvert #6: 60 Lft of 72” Poly-Coated CMP Culvert on 3 ¾ Road, Slagle Township, Section 29 Culvert #7: 34 Lft of 6 ’x 4’ Concrete Box Culvert on 34 ½ Road, Slagle Township, Section 29 Culvert replacements This work involves the removal and placement of the culverts and materials per the attached plans. Please note, the 6’ x 4’ concrete box culvert will be purchased directly by the Road Commission. The 72” CMP culvert is to be purchased by the contractor and included in lump sum bid. All work including traffic control shall be included in each lump sum item for each culvert. The contractor will be responsible for all items of work listed in the Bid Proposal and shown in the plans. The contractor will need to provide traffic control and may construct them part width while maintaining traffic or complete the projects in less than 7 days of closure time. If contractor chooses to close the road it must be done correctly including Type 3 barricades and Road Closed to Through Traffic signs with advance warning at the nearest intersections and Type 3 barricades and road closed signs at the culvert location. Contractor responsible for proper signing and to maintain safe construction area at each location until the roadway is open to traffic
