| Description | The City is requesting bid proposals for the following collection services: a. Basic residential-type collections (some businesses are included), with curbside recycling service and will include expanded collection which will allow City residents to dispose of larger items (stoves, refrigerators, couches, etc.) at no additional charge throughout the year at the curb. Residential service also includes collection of yard waste through co-mingling with refuse. b. In addition to the base bid, add the cost for disposal of all commercial-type collection (dumpsters and roll-off boxes) from City-owned facilities (see Attachment 2) and the collection of all City parks trash barrels (see Attachment 3) as listed in this proposal. The contractor will furnish dumpsters and roll-offs. c. Handicapped collection at no additional cost, with limitation placed on the number of participants. For approved applications, contractor will collect refuse and recycling at door side. | ||
