| Description | Qualified General Contractors are invited to bid on the replacement of a standing seam metal roof and conversion of two vehicle bays into a wash bay at an existing Vehicle Storage Facility (VSF) in Poncha Springs, CO. The existing building is a 140-foot by 50-foot 7,000 square foot pre-engineered metal building with a 3,000 square foot addition. The addition is not part of this project. The contractor shall remove the existing 7,000 sq. ft. metal roof and install a new insulated standing seam metal roof attached to the existing structure. As part of the roof replacement, the existing solotubes, radiant tube heaters and any other components that are attached to the roof structure shall be removed and reinstalled. The existing ceiling lights shall be demolished and replaced with new high-bay LED light fixtures. Additionally, two of the existing vehicle bays will be converted into a wash bay. The contractor shall upgrade the electrical components in those bays, provide and install a new pressure washer, provide FRP paneling on the wall, paint the existing metal, and install two hanging vinyl curtains. |
