The lowest responsive bidder must have completed, or successfully complete, a bridge, highway, or project specific prequalification to be considered for the award of this contract. Description: Maine Federal Aid Project No. 2515300 WIN 025153.00 and 2515500 WIN 025155.00 Location: In Aroostook County, projects begin in the town of Island Falls approximately 0.5 of a mile northerly of Route 159 and extending northeasterly approximately 28 miles to the projects in the town of Houlton. The following bridges will be included in the projects: Island Falls: Bridge Number 1401, 1402, 1403, 6176, 6177, and 6178. Oakfield: Bridge Number 1395, 1396, 1397, 6083, 6084, and 6085. Smyrna: Bridge Number 1391, 1394, 6086, and 6089. Smyrna - Ludlow: Bridge Number 1389 and 6091. Houlton: Bridge Number 1380, 1381, 1382, 1383, 1384, 6096, 6097, 6098, 6099, and 6100. Scope of Work: Interstate 95 Northbound and Southbound Bridge Rehabilitation projects plus other incidental work. A Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder.
