Description | The City of Charlotte (hereinafter the City) will receive sealed bids for the following Project: Cathodic Protection for North Yard Mop Sinks The City of Charlotte reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities as it may deem to be in its best interest. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The contractor shall install an impressed current cathodic protection for the copper lines for mop sinks located in the CATS North Yard Facility. The scope of work includes but not limited to: cathodic protection installation, junction boxes, startup, commissioning and test report. The Contractor will provide a certified personnel to conduct testing of the cathodic protection system required in the specifications. BID FORM: Complete, sign and submit the forms under BID FORM AND SUPPLIMENTS section by or before the due date and time. BID DOCUMENTS: Will be supplied by the Procurement Officer by request. ENGINEERING ESTIMATE: The estimated cost of this Project is between $125,000 and $200,000. Bidders must be properly licensed under North Carolina state law to perform the work. A 5% bid security is required with each bid that equals or exceeds $250,000. Please submit questions or inquiries in writing at least seven (7) calendar days before the Bid Due Date. Questions or inquiries past this deadline may not be addressed by the City prior to the Bid Due Date. The City reserves the option of extending the due date as may be necessary to obtain adequate proposal activity. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities as it may deem to be in its best interest. A Contract Goal of 0.0% DBE participation has been established for this project. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. |
