Description | Pre-solicitation notice for Yellowstone National Parks need for barricades to be fabricated and installed. This Presolicitation Notice is issued solely for informational, market research, and planning purposes only. It does not constitute an Invitation for Bid (IFB) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an IFB or RFP in the future. This Presolicitation Notice does not commit the Government to contract for any construction services whatsoever. Further, the Northern Rockies Major Acquisition Contracting Office is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the United States (U.S) Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Presolicitation Notice. All costs associated with responding to this Presolicitation Notice will be solely at the responding party's expense. Responses to the Presolicitation Notice will not be returned. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Not responding to this Presolicitation Notice does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S Government to form a binding contract. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to continue to monitor the posting site at www.sam.gov for future solicitation postings. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The repair, replacement and installation of new fence throughout the park. NAICS CODE: 332999 SIZE STANDARD: 750 employees SCOPE OF WORK SYNOPSIS: Yellowstone National Park requires districts to be isolated to control traffic in the advent of emergencies, weather condition, and road closure. The barricades are to be installed within strategic boundary locations of Yellowstone National Park. The Park currently has 14 priority barricades scheduled for replacement Fiscal year 23/24 and a total of 200 barricades being condition accessed to determine priority for replacement within the next five years (not all will be replaced during this five year period). The barricades include controlled access to gravel pits, research locations, water treatment plants, and wastewater areas. A single-award, multi-year (up to five years), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ) with firm-fixed price task orders is anticipated to be awarded resulting from the solicitation. The complete Statement of Work will be included with the Solicitation. All questions will be answered in writing via amendments to the Solicitation. NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. Again, this is not an Invitation for Bid (IFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP) and does not constitute any commitment by the Government to issue any solicitation. All interested firms shall respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this Market Research. This solicitation is anticipated to be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) resulting in the award of a Single Award, Firm-Fixed Price Contract. The RFP is anticipated to be issued in July 2023, on https://sam.gov/ under Solicitation #140P1423R0020. |
