Anticipated date the State will post answers to bidder questions on website. 4:00 p.m. Eastern Wednesday, September 7, 2022. This RFP is to create a statewide solution to rubbish removal and optional recycling services for diverse State of Michigan locations across multiple Agencies. A variety of container sizes and pick-up frequencies are needed, with some Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) locations requiring seasonal changes. Other State Agencies and locations may be added as needed at future times. Contracts may be awarded primarily on prosperity regions basis and availability of services in these regions. Locations associated with this RFP are highly visible to the public. The State is looking for the best overall Statewide solution that minimizes the health and safety to the public and all state employees working at these locations. The State is looking for recommendations that best fits this need. If that recommendation includes a bidder utilizing multiple subcontractors, or the State awarding multiple contracts, then that will be the direction the State will take. |
