Description

Project involves the repair and retrofit of a Stormwater Management (SWM) facility at the Warren Road light-rail station, located in Baltimore County. The purpose of this project is to repair and retrofit the existing dry pond into a submerged gravel wetland. This retrofit entails modifying the existing concrete riser structure and installing a gabion wall to create a sediment forebay. Construction of the submerged gravel wetland will include the planting of new wetland type perennials. Tree and brush removal from within the SWM facility and its embankment is also required for this project. Minor grading outside the SWM facility, to prevent soil erosion, and resetting the slab of a nearby curb inlet are also proposed
