Architecture and Engineering Services Duck Creek Park Improvements

For the renovation of existing tennis courts and design of a dog off leash area, as well as an obstacle style playground at Duck Creek Park. Scope of Services includes, but is not limited to: 1. Assess needs and design criteria with City’s project management team. 2. Provide a consistent project team through the full length of the design process. 3. Provide surveys, utilities, and other pertinent information. Reconcile any discrepancies between the survey and recorded legal descriptions. 4. Provide schematic drawings, colored elevations, colored perspective, and other suitable material depicting the concepts to be evaluated. 5. Apply value engineering/analysis to alternatives including advice on “constructability” and “contractability” decisions made during each plan review phase. Provide information on the trade-offs between alternatives as to the initial costs, life cycle costs, and construction schedule. 6. Design and drawing reviews at 10%, 40%, and 90%. 7. Develop estimates of probable costs at 10%, 40%, and 90%. 8. Design development and construction document stages of the project. Provide feedback on the budget, schedule, and make recommendations to the City. 9. Maintain responsibility for preparation of any addenda during the construction bidding process. 10. Assist in analyzing construction bids and provide recommendation on contract award. 11. Assist with the project commissioning process. 12. Upon project completion, deliver an electronic version of final as-built plans to the City of Davenport.
