Description | Proposal A Pulverizing Grading & Compacting Culvert Pipe Replacement At Grade Rail Crossing Replacement Site Restoration Asphalt Paving Shouldering (3/4" Base Aggregate Dense (supply and placement)) Pavement Markings Traffic Control Proposal B 3/4" Base Aggregate Dense (supply and placement) 1 1/4 " Base Aggregate Dense (supply and placement) 3" Base Aggregate Dense (supply and placement) Geotextile Fabric (supply and installation) Excavation Watermain Installation - Open Cut & Directional Boring Watermain River Crossing Water Service Installation Erosion Control Asphalt Paving Site Restoration Traffic Control The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Letting is subject to Section 62.15(1) and Section 66.0901, Wisconsin Statutes. Each bidder must deposit with his/her bid, an amount to secure the bid and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. The Contract shall be subject to Section 66.0903 of the Wisconsin Statutes pertaining to municipal wage scales and Federal Davis-Bacon wage rates. The "American Iron and Steel" requirements must be met. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. We encourage Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women Business Enterprises (WBEs), to submit bid proposals. The Contractor is responsible to follow all requirements of the WI DNR EIF program and the EDA on this project. This project is being funded in part by the WI DNR EIF Program (Safe Drinking Water Loan Program No. 5369-18), Economic Development Administration (EDA No. 06-79-06435), and the City of Ladysmith. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 60 days after the actual day of the opening thereof. The Contractor must include an address, telephone number, FAX number, and e-mail address when requesting plans. The BIDDER agrees to pay, as liquidated damages, the sum of $500 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter. |
